Terms of Service — Pulse News 247

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Pulse News 247 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pulse News 247 is a news aggregation application that collects articles from publicly available RSS feeds, generates automated summaries, and presents them in a personalized feed. We do not create original news content. All articles link back to their original publishers.

3. User Accounts

You may use the App as a guest without creating an account
Creating an account enables bookmark syncing, streaks, and personalization
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

4. Subscription Terms (Pulse+)

Pricing

Monthly plan: $4.99 CAD per month
Annual plan: $39.99 CAD per year (7-day free trial included)

Billing

Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's app store settings

Free Trial

The 7-day free trial is available on the annual plan only
If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged
If you do not cancel, the annual subscription fee will be charged at the end of the trial
Free trials are limited to one per Apple ID or Google account

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies
We do not process refunds directly — contact Apple Support or Google Play Support

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App programmatically
Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Submit false reports or spam article reaction features

6. Content Ownership

News articles are owned by their respective publishers
Automated summaries are created by Pulse News 247 for informational purposes
Summaries should not be considered a substitute for reading the original article
We provide links to original articles so you can verify information at the source
The Pulse News 247 app, brand, and design are our intellectual property

7. Summary Disclaimer

Automated summaries may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misrepresentations. We label all summaries clearly with a "Summarized by Pulse" badge. Always refer to the original article for authoritative information. Pulse News 247 is not responsible for decisions made based on article summaries.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pulse News 247 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. In no event shall Pulse News 247 be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for Pulse+ in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 CAD, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
